- vegetable oil 1 tbsp
- cooked rice 1 ½ cups
- kecap manis 1 tbsp
- eggs 4 large
- salt ¼ tsp
- black pepper ¼ tsp
- cheddar cheese ½ cup, shredded
- green onions 2 stalks

1Heat vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add cooked rice and spread into an even layer, frying until the edges are crisp and golden, about 4 minutes , stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Drizzle in kecap manis and continue to fry for 1 minutes longer to glaze the rice.

2Meanwhile, whisk eggs with salt and black pepper until just combined. Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the eggs over the crisped rice in the skillet. Cook until the eggs are mostly set, about 3 minutes . Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the surface and cover the pan for 1 minutes to melt.

3Slide the omelette onto a plate, fold in half if you like, and scatter green onions on top for a fresh finish. Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy rice omelette for breakfast or brunch.
