- milk 420 ml
- oat flakes 168 ml
- salt pinch
- butter 10 g

- milk cooker

This recipe is for oat flakes that say 1 or 3 minutes cooking time on the package. The general proportion by volume is oats 1 part to milk 2.5 parts. Scale down the amounts as this makes quite a lot of porridge.

1Pour milk into milk cooker and heat until it whistles.

2Add oat flakes and stir.

3Simmer for 15 minutes .

4Add salt and butter , then let it rest in the pot for another 5 minutes .
