  • dried red chilies 10
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • coriander seeds 2 tsp
  • fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • cardamom pods 6
  • cloves 6
  • cinnamon stick 1 stick
  • black peppercorns ΒΌ tsp
  • ginger 2 tsp
  • garlic 3 clove
  • lemon juice 3 tbsp

    Dry roast dried red chilies , cumin seeds , coriander seeds , fenugreek seeds , cardamom pods , cloves , cinnamon stick and black peppercorns over low flame.

    Cool down slightly. Transfer to a grinder. Grind to a fine powder. Add ginger , garlic and lemon juice (or vinegar, or tamarind paste) into the grinder. Process to a smooth paste. Add a little water if needed.
