🥘 Ingredients

  • cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • cashews 0.33 cup
  • tomato puree ¼ cup
  • fresh coriander ¼ cup
  • garlic 2 cloves
  • desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
  • garam masala 1 tbsp
  • ginger 3 tsp
  • ground coriander 2 tsp
  • sweet paprika 2 tsp
  • ground turmeric 2 tsp
  • oil ¼ cup

    Place the cumin seeds in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes or until aromatic.

    Blend the cumin seeds, cashews , tomato puree , fresh coriander , crushed garlic , desiccated coconut , garam masala , grated ginger , ground coriander , sweet paprika and ground turmeric in a blender until coarsely chopped.

    Add the oil and blend, scraping down the side of the blender occasionally, until a smooth paste forms.
