Arabic lentil soup

  • onion 1
  • garlic cloves 2
  • carrots 2
  • butter 1 tbsp
  • red lentils 75 g
  • vegetable broth 500 ml
  • spinach 100 g
  • parsley 1 bunch
  • lemon Β½
  • salt

    Cut the onion , the garlic cloves and the carrots and stew in melted butter for about 3 to 4 minutes .

    Add red lentils , stew for a few minutes . Then fill hot vegetable broth and cook for another 10 minutes .

    Cut the spinach and the parsley and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes .
  4. 4
    Add the juice of the lemon and salt .
