Aperol comes to mind here as the Itallian aperitif - But more bitter stuff exists.

    Mix aged rum , Amaro Montenegro , bittersweet Italian aperitif and lemon juice in a shaker .

    Shake the ingredients and ice together, strain into a coupe glass
