📝

Storage: This smoothie is best fresh, but leftovers will keep in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 day. Storage: Got more leftovers? This smoothie is freezer-friendly! Freeze leftovers in a jar for up to 2 months, leaving 1 inch (~2.5 cm) of space to allow for expansion. Thaw in the fridge overnight before enjoying.

  1. 1
Gather: soy milk or plant-based milk of choice , Frozen Banana & Spinach Smoothie Pack , fresh mint leaves or peppermint extract , almond butter or tahini , large Medjool dates , of ice , or more chocolate plant-based protein powder , Kosher salt , cacao nibs OR dark chocolate .
  2. 2
Pour the soy milk into a high-powered blender. Then add the Frozen Banana & Spinach Smoothie Pack, mint, almond butter, and dates. For a frostier smoothie, you can add the ice if desired, but make sure you're using a high-powered blender.
  3. 3
Start blending on low, then gradually increase to high, using a blender tamper if you have one. If you need extra liquid to get things moving, add more milk and blend again.
  4. 4
Optional: If using protein powder, add it now and blend again until incorporated. If your protein powder has added sweetness, I recommend adding a pinch of salt to balance.
  5. 5
Add the cacao nibs or chopped dark chocolate, and pulse a few times just to incorporate and distribute. Don’t blend fully, as you want flecks and crunch.
  6. 6
Taste, adding more cacao or chocolate as desired.
