- unsalted butter 2 tbsp
- heavy cream 1 ¼ cups
- unsalted butter 2 tbsp

1Preheat oven to 425, set the rack to the middle.

2Whisk all purpose flour , baking powder , and kosher salt into a large bowl

3Pour unsalted butter and heavy cream into the flour mixture. Mix with a wooden spoon until the dough comes together.

4Turn the dough out onto a floured extra large cutting board . Use a rolling pin to roll into an 8-inch square that's about 3/4" thick.

5cut out square biscuits. You should have 7 or 8. Brush them with unsalted butter and arrange them in a cast iron skillet (12").

6Bake for about 15 minutes.
