- chickpeas 1 can
- garlic 1 clove
- chickpea brine 0.33 cup
- tahini ¾ cup
- ice cubes ¾
- cumin 2 tsp
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- lemon juice from 0.5 lemon
- parsley

1Boil some water with salt , add the chickpeas and garlic into the water, but keep the chickpea brine separate.

2Boil the chickpeas for 20-30 minutes .

3Drain the chickpeas once cooked and add to a blender with the chickpea brine and garlic clove from earlier.

4Blend until they form a paste-like consistency.

5Add in the tahini and blend, then whilst blending add in the ice cubes one at a time.

6Add in the cumin , olive oil , salt, and lemon juice and blend one last time or until it's as smooth as desired.

7Plate up the hummus, drizzle some olive oil over it and season with fresh parsley .
