🥘 Ingredients
- red onion 1
- ginger 1 thumb
- coriander 1 handful
- garlic 2 cloves
- green chillies 2
- oil
- tomatoes 1 can
- chilli powder 1 tsp
- cumin 1 tsp
- turmeric ½ tsp
- fennel seeds powder ½ tsp
- chickpeas 2 cans
- garam masala 1 ½ tsp
- salt ½ tsp

1Combine half the red onion , ginger , coriander , garlic , and green chillies to a food processor for 20 seconds .

2Transfer mix to a pot with cold/room temperature oil .

3Bring pot to a medium heat for 5 minutes .

4In the meantime, add tomatoes to a food processor for 30 seconds .

5Add chilli powder , cumin , turmeric , and fennel seeds powder to the pan and combine.

6Add chickpeas and tomato blend to the pot.

7Stir, lower the heat, close and let it cook for 15 minutes .

8Add garam masala and salt at this stage.

9Let it cook for another 8 minutes .

10Cool down and serve with some rice , chapati or your carb of choice.

11Garnish with coriander, diced onion, and some green chillies.

12Notes : - I use cashmere chilli powder if I have it. - I stem and seed the green chillies but adjust this to your desired level of heat.
