🥘 Ingredients
- split yellow moong dal 1 cup
- rice 1 cup
- ghee ¼ cup
- cumin seeds (jeera) ½ tsp
- hing 1 pinch
- cloves 4 pcs
- cinnamon sticks 2 pcs
- bay leaves 2 pcs
- cauliflower florets 1 cup
- chinese eggplant 1 pc
- potatoes 1 pc
- french beans ¾ cup
- onions ½ pc
- green peas ½ cup
- turmeric powder (haldi) ½ tsp
- chilli powder 1 tsp
- salt
- ghee
- water 4 cups
- plain yogurt
- papad

1Wash and soak split yellow moong dal and rice for 10 minutes . Drain and keep aside.

2In an Instapot , heat ghee and add cumin seeds (jeera) , hing , cloves , cinnamon sticks , and bay leaves . Stir until the seeds crackle.

3Add cauliflower florets , chinese eggplant (diced), potatoes (peeled and diced), french beans , onions (diced), and green peas .

4Season with turmeric powder (haldi) , chilli powder , and salt to taste. Stir for a few minutes.

5Add the drained rice and dal and stir until the ghee coats the grains evenly.

6Add water and stir well.

7Pressure cook for 15 minutes .

8Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Mix well and serve hot with plain yogurt and papad .
