- all-purpose flour 1 cup
- almond flour ½ cup
- baking powder 1 tsp
- salt ¼ tsp
- unsalted butter ½ cup
- granulated sugar 1 cup
- eggs 3
- vanilla extract 1 tsp
- milk ½ cup
- fresh blackberries 1 cup
- sliced almonds ¼ cup

Cake Preparation

1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan .

2In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour , almond flour , baking powder , and salt until well combined.

3In a large bowl, cream unsalted butter and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

4Add eggs , one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then mix in vanilla extract .

5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk . Start and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

6Gently fold in fresh blackberries , being careful not to break them.

7Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan , smoothing the top with a spatula.
