Cardamom Shortbread Cookies with Orange Glaze

- powdered sugar ½ cup
- softened salted butter 1 cup
- all-purpose flour 1 ¾ cups
- freshly ground cardamom 1 tsp
- powdered sugar 1 cup
- orange juice 1 tbsp
- milk 1 tbsp
- orange zest 1 tsp

1Cream powdered sugar and softened salted butter on low, then medium speed for 30 seconds until smooth.

2Add all-purpose flour and freshly ground cardamom ; mix on low until dough forms medium chunks without overmixing.

3Shape into a disk, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

4Roll dough 1/2-inch thick between parchment paper, cut into shapes, and freeze for 10–15 minutes.
