Pâte a choux

🥘 Ingredients

  • water 500 ml
  • salt 1 CàC
  • sugar 1 CàS
  • butter 100 g
  • flour 150 g
  • eggs 4

    In saucepan, boil the water with the salt , the sugar and the butter .

    Add the flour in one go and stir until the dough stops sticking to the side of the pan.

    Take it off the heat.
  4. 4
    Keep stirring the dough for a minutes and then add the eggs one by one.
  5. 5
    Set the dough on cooking tray by making small of balls (approximately the size of an egg).
  6. 6
    brush some eggs yolks on each 'choux'
  7. 7
    Put in a pre-heated oven for 25 minutes (thermostat: 180°C).
  8. 8
    Once cooked, let the choux cool down in the oven, so they do not collapse.
