Honey Butter Tofu Crumble

🥘 Ingredients

  • tofu 1 block
  • cornstarch 2 tbsp
  • salt ½ tsp
  • pepper ½ tsp
  • garlic powder ½ tsp
  • smoked paprika ¼ tsp
  • vegetable oil 1 tbsp
  • vegan butter 1 tbsp
  • maple syrup 1 tbsp
  • salt ¼ tsp

    Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then crumble into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, toss tofu with cornstarch and salt , pepper , garlic powder , and smoked paprika until evenly coated.

    In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat, then add the coated tofu and cook until crisp and golden, 7 minutes , stirring occasionally.

    Make the honey butter glaze by melting vegan butter with maple syrup and salt over low heat until smooth, then pour over the crispy tofu crumble and toss to coat evenly, 2 minutes .

    Serve with cooked rice, salads, or wraps.
