Tarte aux noix

🥘 Ingredients

  • wallnuts 250 gr
  • sugar 250 gr
  • butter 100 gr
  • crème fraîche 1 CàS
  • vanilla sugar 1 sachet
  • egg yolks 4
  • egg whites 4
  • icing sugar 150 gr
  • coffee 3@CàS

Dough

    Prepare a [pâte brisée](../fr/pate-brisee.html) or [sablée](../fr/pate-sablee.html) and pre-bake it. It is possible to add an "abricotage" (spreading apricot jam or equivalent) on the dough before adding the nut based mix.

Filling

    Blend the wallnuts .

    Mix the sugar , the butter melted, the crème fraîche , the vanilla sugar and the egg yolks .

    When the mixture is homogeneous, add the egg whites beaten into very firm peaks.

    Put in the oven at 160°C for 40 minutes .
  5. 5
    When the pie has cooled, mix the icing sugar and the coffee and spread over the pie.
