- butter 200 g
- egg whites 6
- icing sugar 180 g
- flour 80 g
- almond powder 125 g
- bitter orange extract 4 drops

1Pre-heat the oven to 190Β°C.

2In a saucepan, heat the butter until it is lightly colored and gives off a nutty smell. Let it cool.

3whisk the egg whites until foamy (not stiff).

4Add the icing sugar , then the flour , the almond powder , the bitter orange extract , and the cooled melted butter.

5Mix until homogeneous.

6Pour the batter into the financier molds.

7Sprinkle with some sliced almonds.

8Bake for about 15 minutes .

9Let them cool before unmolding and serving.
