Creamy Green Butter Beans

🥘 Ingredients

  • butter beans 1 ½ cans
  • spinach 1 handful
  • basil ½ handful
  • garlic 1 clove
  • nutritional yeast 10g
  • silken tofu ½ carton
  • red chilli flakes ½ tsp
  • gailsbakery sourdough 2 slices
  • vine tomatoes 200g

🍳 Cookware

  • deep bottomed pan
  • blender
  • deep bottomed pan

    In a deep bottomed pan , warm the butter beans until heated through.
  2. 2
    In a blender , combine spinach , basil , garlic , nutritional yeast , and silken tofu and blend to a smooth sauce. Season to taste with red chilli flakes .

    Pour the sauce over the beans in the deep bottomed pan , stir through and bring up to temperature until all heated through.
  4. 4
    Serve with toasted gailsbakery sourdough and roasted vine tomatoes . Enjoy.
