Dahl

🥘 Ingredients

  • garlic 1 head
  • onion 1
  • huile d'olive 20 ml
  • curry power 2 CàS
  • cumin powder 2 CàS
  • rosemary 1 CàC
  • cumin seeds 1 CàS
  • coriandre seeds 1 CàS
  • salt 1 CàC
  • pepper 1 CàC
  • red lentils 450 gr
  • canned tomatoes 2 cans of 400 gr
  • coconut milk 400 ml
  • coriandre

    Chop the garlic and onion and start cooking them in huile d'olive .

    Add the curry power and the cumin powder , herbs (for example rosemary ), and ground cumin seeds and coriandre seeds .

    Add salt and pepper

    Add the red lentils .
  5. 5
    Add the canned tomatoes et half of the coconut milk .
  6. 6
    Add water to cover the lentils.
  7. 7
    Slow cook for at least 30 minutes , till the lentils are fully cooked.

    Add more water if necessary.
  9. 9
    Serve with fresh coriandre (for those who like it).
