                            1Soak dried pinto beans in water overnight Add beans quartered onion and smashed garlic cloves to a pan Cover with water and season with salt Simmer covered for 30 minutes Uncover and continue cooking 90 minutes or until soft Heat lard and add beans and broth, smash until creamy
