  • French bread cubes 8 cups
  • shredded sharp cheddar cheese 2 cups, divided

    Ingredients: - Bacon - eggs - milk - ground black pepper - French bread cubes (¾-inch pieces) - shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and ground black pepper until well blended. 3. Gently stir in the French bread cubes until evenly coated with the egg mixture. 4. Add the Bacon and 1 ½ cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Mix well. 5. Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish. 6. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly. 7. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese over the top. 8. Bake for 45 minutes , or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. 9. Allow the casserole to stand for 10 minutes before cutting it into 12 squares to serve.
