- medium carrot 1
- onion Β½
- olive oil
- salt
- rice 1 cup
- bouillon 1 t
- water 1.5 cup

- aluminum foil

1Grate the medium carrot followed by the onion . Soften in a small pot with olive oil and salt .

2Once the carrot and onion are soft, add the rinsed rice and toast for a few minutes.

3Add the bouillon and water and a bit more salt.

4Bring to a boil and taste to adjust the salt.

5Once boiling, cover the pot with aluminum foil followed by the lid and cook on low heat for 15 minutes .
