- onion, diced 1/3 cup
- butter 1/3 cup
- minced garlic
- salt a little
- pepper lots
- flour 1/3 cup
- bouillon cubes 2
- water 1 cup
- milk 1 cup
- cooked chicken 2 1/2 cups
- mixed vegetables, thawed 2 cups
- pie crusts 2

1In a small pot , soften the onion, diced in the butter . After the onion has cooked a while, add the minced garlic , salt , and pepper .

2Add the flour , and cook briefly.

3Add the bouillon cubes followed by, in small increments, the water and milk , stirring each time until combined.

4Add the cooked chicken and mixed vegetables, thawed .

5Taste and adjust.

6Put the mixture into one of the pie crusts , and top with the other.

7Add to the oven and bake until the crust is golden brown, 30-40 minutes .
