Pumpkin Squares

🥘 Ingredients

  • butter ½ cup
  • sugar ½ cup
  • brown sugar ½ cup
  • eggs 2
  • pumpkin 1 14-oz can
  • flour 1 cup
  • cinnamon 1 tsp
  • nutmeg ¼ tsp
  • ginger ¼ tsp
  • baking powder 1 tsp
  • baking soda ½ tsp
  • salt ¼ tsp
  • softened cream cheese 4 oz
  • butter ¼ cup
  • vanilla 1 tsp
  • sugar 2 cups

  • stand mixer
  • 9 x 13" pan

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    In a stand mixer , Cream butter and sugar . Beat in brown sugar and eggs one at a time.

    Slowly beat in pumpkin . Add flour , cinnamon , nutmeg , ginger , baking powder , baking soda , and salt and stir.

    Scrape into 9 x 13" pan .

    Bake for 25 minutes . Cool, then frost with cream cheese icing.

    Cream cheese icing: Beat in softened cream cheese , butter , and vanilla , then beat in sugar .

    Spread then chill.
