- brown sugar ½ cup

- pumpkin 1 14-oz can
- flour 1 cup
- cinnamon 1 tsp
- nutmeg ¼ tsp
- ginger ¼ tsp
- baking powder 1 tsp
- baking soda ½ tsp
- salt ¼ tsp
- softened cream cheese 4 oz
- butter ¼ cup
- vanilla 1 tsp
- sugar 2 cups

- stand mixer
- 9 x 13" pan

1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2In a stand mixer , Cream butter and sugar . Beat in brown sugar and eggs one at a time.

3Slowly beat in pumpkin . Add flour , cinnamon , nutmeg , ginger , baking powder , baking soda , and salt and stir.

4Scrape into 9 x 13" pan .

5Bake for 25 minutes . Cool, then frost with cream cheese icing.

6Cream cheese icing: Beat in softened cream cheese , butter , and vanilla , then beat in sugar .
