  • granulated sugar 198 g
  • water 227 g
  • cranberries 1 12-oz pkg
  • orange zest 1

    Combine granulated sugar and water in a medium saucepan . Bring to boil; add cranberries , return to boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes , stirring occasionally.

    Add the orange zest near the end.

    Cover and cool completely at room temperature.
  4. 4
    Refrigerate until serving time.
