- granulated sugar 198 g
- water 227 g
- cranberries 1 12-oz pkg
- orange zest 1

1Combine granulated sugar and water in a medium saucepan . Bring to boil; add cranberries , return to boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes , stirring occasionally.

2Add the orange zest near the end.

3Cover and cool completely at room temperature.
