Classic Walnut Pie

  • eggs 3
  • sugar 1 cup
  • flour 2 Tbsp
  • light Karo corn syrup 1 cup
  • butter 2 Tbsp
  • vanilla 1 tsp
  • unbaked pie shell 1
  • walnuts 1 Β½ cups

    Preheat oven to 400Β°F.

    Combine eggs , lightly beaten, sugar , flour , light Karo corn syrup , butter , melted, and vanilla ; blend well.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell .

    Arrange walnuts on top (or blend into mixture).
  5. 5
    Bake in lower third of oven at 400Β°F for 15 minutes . Reduce oven temperature to 350Β°F and bake for additional 35 to 45 minutes .
