  • (270 g) dried black-eyed peas 1 ½ cups
  • garlic, minced 2 cloves
  • (140 g) red onion, diced 1 cup
  • (70 g) red bell pepper (diced) ½ cup
  • (70 g) green bell pepper (diced) ½ cup
  • Tabasco 2 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • liquid smoke 1 tsp
  • yellow mustard 1 tsp
  • bay leaf 1
  • vegetable broth 5 cups

    Rinse and sort (270 g) dried black-eyed peas .

    Add garlic, minced , (140 g) red onion, diced , (70 g) red bell pepper (diced) , (70 g) green bell pepper (diced) Tabasco , salt , liquid smoke , yellow mustard , bay leaf , and vegetable broth to slow cooker .

    Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or low 6 to 7 hours.
