- garlic 2 cloves
- white mushrooms 8 oz
- brown rice 1 cup
- quick oats ½ cup
- cheddar cheese ¾ cup
- egg 1
- salt
- pepper
- bread crumbs 3 Tbsp

1Heat skillet . Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until brown, about 4 minutes . Add chopped white mushrooms , cook until liquid has evaporated. Stir in cooked brown rice and cook for 1 minute . Remove from heat and transfer mixture to large bowl . Stir in quick oats , grated cheddar cheese , and egg . Add salt and pepper . If mixture seems wet, add bread crumbs .

2Cover mixture and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours . Make 4 patties and refrigerate for 1 hour .
