- all-purpose flour 390 g

- poppy seeds 2 Tbsp
- granulated sugar 465 g
- vanilla 1 Β½ tsp
- almond extract 1 Β½ tsp
- whole milk 360 g
- eggs 3
- neutral oil 288 g
- confectioners' sugar 90 g
- orange juice 57 g
- unsalted butter 2 tsp
- vanilla Β½ tsp
- almond extract Β½ tsp
π³ Cookware
- bundt pan or 2 loaf pans
- stand mixer
- cake tester
- small offset spatula
- cooling rack
- skewer
- pastry brush

1Preheat oven to 350Β°F.

2Prepare a bundt pan or 2 loaf pans with a neutral oil and flour.

3Add baking powder , all-purpose flour , salt , poppy seeds , and granulated sugar to bowl of stand mixer and mix.

4Add vanilla extract and almond extract to room temperature whole milk .

5Add room temperature eggs , neutral oil and milk mixture to bowl and mix with dry ingredients.

6Mix for about 1 minute on medium-high.

7Pour batter into prepared pan and bake in oven for 80 to 90 minutes .

8Make the glaze by adding confectioners' sugar , orange juice , melted unsalted butter , vanilla extract, and almond extract to a small bowl.

9Whisk until there are no more lumps and set aside.

10Check the cake with a cake tester until the cake tester is clean.

11Separate the edges of the cake from the pan using a small offset spatula .

12Let the cake cook in the pan for about 15 minutes .

13Turn the cake out of the pan by putting a cooling rack over the pan and then flipping the pan upside down.

14Poke the cake with a skewer to add holes for the glaze to seep into.

15Glaze the cake while still warm with a pastry brush .

16Wait for the cake to cool and the glaze to crystallize before serving.
