🥘 Ingredients
- mushrooms 1 ¼ lbs
- water ¼ cup
- vegetable oil ½ tsp
- unsalted butter 1 Tbsp
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable broth (optional)

1In a cold skillet , add any variety of mushrooms and a 1/4 cup of water . Cook on high until the pan is dry and the mushrooms have collapsed, about 5 minutes .

2Add a half teaspoon of vegetable oil to brown the mushrooms.

3Add a little bit of unsalted butter for gloss and richness and season with salt and pepper to taste.

4Season with vegetable broth (optional) if desired.
