  • baking soda 1 tsp
  • semi sweet chocolate chips 3 cups
  • walnuts ½ cups
  • vanilla ice cream (optional)

🍳 Cookware

  • 10 inch cast iron skillet
  • large mixing bowl
  1. 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously grease a 10 inch cast iron skillet with butter. Set aside.
  2. 2
In a large mixing bowl combine the melted butter , brown sugar , and granulated sugar . Beat until mixed together. Add in the eggs , egg yolk , and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. 3
In separate bowl mix together the all-purpose flour , salt , baking powder and baking soda . Mix half the dry ingredients into the wet until everything comes together. Transfer the cookie dough to your prepared skillet and pat into an even layer.
  5. 5
Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until the edges are just golden brown and the center has puffed up but is still very gooey in the middle.
  6. 6
Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving with vanilla ice cream (optional) . Best served warm!
