- dried black beans 400 g
- onion 1 medium
- garlic 4 cloves
- cumin 1 tsp
- chili powder Β½ tsp
- black pepper Β½ tsp
- dried oregano 1 tsp
- vegetable broth 5 cups
- salt
- lime juice

1Add dried black beans , coarsely chopped onion , garlic , cumin , chili powder , black pepper , dried oregano , and vegetable broth to an Instant Pot.

2Seal the lid and pressure cook for 40 minutes , then let pressure release naturally for 20 minutes .

3Use a ladle to scoop out most of the liquid and set aside.

4Use an immersion blender to blend, adding in liquid to desired consistency.

5Stir in salt and lime juice to taste.
