- sugar 1 ΒΎ cups
- water 1 cup
- lemon juice 1 Β½ cups
- water 7 cup

1In a saucepan , make a simple syrup with the sugar and 1 cup of water . Bring to a boil and stir to make sure the sugar is dissolved. Allow syrup to cool, then cover and place in refrigerator until well chilled.

2In a pitcher , stir together simple syrup, lemon juice with pulp (make sure all seeds are removed!) and remaining 7 cups of water .

3Enjoy over ice on a hot day.
