1Add coconut milk and granulated sugar to a saucepan .

2Bring to a simmer on medium heat while stirring until the sugar has dissolved completely, and then bring down to low-medium heat.

3After about 25 minutes , the mixture should have reduced by about a third of from its original volume.

4Let the mixture cool to room temperature before storing it in the fridge .
