  • bacon 2 oz
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • pepper 1 each
  • scallions 1 each
  • milk 6 oz
  • potatoes 6 oz
  • boullion 1 cube
  • old bay seasoning 1 tbsp
  • corn Β½ cans
  • cream cheese 2 tbsp
  • shredded cheese ΒΌ cups

    Fry the bacon so that you can crumble it once it cools and set aside.

    Melt butter in a saucepan. Add pepper , the whites of the scallions , salt, and black pepper. Stir until browned.

    Slowly add milk until fully incorporated. Add potatoes , boullion , and half the old bay seasoning . Bring to a boil, cook until potatoes are tender.

    Once potatoes are tender, mash them. Then add corn , cream cheese , and shredded cheese . Stir and water down until the right consistency is reached (your preference).

    Add bacon back into the chowder. Garnish with the greens of the scallions.
