Cook @beetroot{4} in water with @salt{}, @onion{1}, @vegeta{1%tsp}, @bay leaf{1} and @butter{1%tsp} for 35mins.

When cooked add @vinegar{2%tbsp} or @lemon juice{2%tbsp}.

Separate juice from beets. Mix beets liquid with the same amount of @chicken stock{}.

Add some @black pepper{1%tsp}, @salt{}, @sugar{} if you like for taste.
