Sift @all purpose flour{2%cups} and @salt{1%teaspoon} together. Cut in @shortening{2/3%cup} with #pastry blender{} until pieces are the size of small peas. Sprinkle @water{1%tablespoon} over part of mixture. Gently toss with fork, push to side of bowl. Repeat until all is moistened. Form into ball. Flatten on lightly floured surface by pressing with edge of hand 3 times across in both directions. Roll using #rolling pin{} from center to edge until 1/8 inches thick.
